Abbey Cleaning undertakes carpet and upholstery cleaning in both commercial premises and residential properties.
We offer two types of cleaning; dry carpet cleaning and truckmounted carpet cleaning:-
With dry carpet cleaning your carpets will be dry in approximately 20 - 30 minutes, with the truckmounted carpet cleaning system the carpets will be damp to touch with a drying time of approximately 4 - 6 hours.
The truckmount carpet cleaning is by far our customer's preferred cleaning system. The benefits of it is, as the name suggests, mounted in one of our vans (with another mounted in a trailer unit), we carry our own water and use our own power. The truckmounted system is a powerful unit that uses steam to achieve a much deeper clean and therefore a better result. Provided the carpet is well maintained the average time between cleans with this system is 12 - 18 months.
Have you had your carpets professionally cleaned before and noticed the carpet seems to get dirty soon after being cleaned? We pre spray your carpets and then rinse them - that way no sticky residue is left behind. If sticky residue is left behind it attracts dirt faster and you will notice your carpets looking dirty again soon after cleaning. Using our method your carpets stay cleaner for longer.
We also offer stain removal and use different spotters designed for particular stains.

Pressure Cleaning
Abbey Cleaning use a large petrol unit for pressure cleaning. Pressure cleaners that plus into the electric supply aren't powerful enough. Our system gives a higher flow rate and higher pressure than thos you might find at your local DIY store. This enables us to give you a high quality result.
For high access points we have a telescopic lance, by using this we can work without the need for scaffolding.
We also have different attachments, including mechanical action attachments, available for use on different surfaces and depending on the type of pressure cleaning required.
Abbey Cleaning can also use an extraction unit so that if, for example, we were undertaking indoor pressure cleaning where there is no way for the water to drain away we are able to remove the water as part of the pressure cleaning process.
Abbey Cleaning has undertaken pressure cleaning of forecourts, pathways, driveways, fire exits, stonework, removal of moss and algae, sign cleaning and graffiti removal. We are happy to consider any pressure cleaning projects so give us a call or email us with details of your project.

Bring life back into an old floor - Abbey Cleaning offer a stripping and sealing service:-
First, old layers of polishes are removed (stripping) as over time the dirt will have worked its way into these layers.
Second, we then clean the stripped floor.
Third, and finally, we apply a new sealant which will protect your newly cleaned floor.
Alternatively, we also offer steam cleaning of hard floors. We use our truckmounted system to clean the floor, this also extracts the water away so that you are not left with water pooling on your floor. The floor will be damp but will dry, depending on the evironment, in for example:-
Wood - approximately 2 hours
Concrete - approximately 1 hour
PVC - approximately 30 minutes
We carry out hardfloor cleaning on linoleum, pvc, ultra flooring, stone, tiled floors, concrete floors etc.

Flooding - Abbey Cleaning offers a flood water extraction service. We can also dry the property by supplying of drying equipment.
Fire - Abbey Cleaning can help with decontamination of fire and smoke residues (soot) and restoration of the building and contents.
